TK Control
A cross-platform mobile app (Ionic/Angular, iOS and Android) with geolocation and push notifications and a PHP backend, plus its Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) and privacy compliance.
The challenge
TK Control needed a mobile application for its field operations, along with the privacy and data-protection compliance that handling personal data requires.
The app had to work in the field on both iOS and Android, use location to support operations and notify users in real time — and because it processes personal data, GDPR compliance had to be built in, not bolted on.
What we did
We built a cross-platform mobile app with Ionic and Angular, shipping a single codebase to iOS and Android, with geolocation and push notifications, backed by a PHP API.
In parallel we produced the Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), analysing how the app processes personal data and establishing the measures needed for GDPR compliance.
The outcome
TK Control runs its field operations from a mobile app on both platforms, with the privacy obligations of handling personal data assessed and covered from day one.
