The challenge

Kurzgesagt wanted to focus on producing the highest-quality content while keeping its internal tooling and time tracking running smoothly.

The team tracked time in Harvest and managed HR in Kenjo, but the two systems didn't talk to each other. Keeping them aligned meant manual, repetitive work — exactly the kind of operational overhead a creative studio wants to eliminate.

What we did

We provide ongoing consulting and support for the studio's internal tooling.

Among other work, we designed and built a Node.js integration that connects Harvest with Kenjo, so time tracking flows automatically between the two platforms without anyone copying data by hand. The integration runs unattended, and we maintain and adapt it as either platform evolves.

The outcome

Operational work that used to consume the team's time now happens automatically, with consistent data across both platforms — and the studio's effort stays where it belongs: on producing content of the highest quality.
